Join Global Kindness Season with the Learning Planet Festival 2027

As part of the Learning Planet Festival 2027, taking place from 25 to 29 January 2027, the Festival is joining forces with Pass Kindness Forward, a global movement aiming to inspire one billion acts of kindness during Global Kindness Season, from 1 November 2026 to 31 January 2027.

The movement was born in Puerto Rico through Pásalo Pa’lante, where in just five days, communities, schools and NGOs came together to inspire more than 1.1 million acts of kindness. The ambition now is to take this spirit to the world, empowering young people, organisations and communities everywhere to strengthen human connection through kindness in action.

This collaboration reflects the spirit of the Learning Planet Festival: bringing people, organisations and communities together across the world to learn, act and contribute to a more caring future. We would therefore like to invite partners and networks across the Festival ecosystem to take part in this initiative.

Participation can take place at several levels:

  • share the campaign with your community and encourage people to join Global Kindness Season;
  • invite students, educators, employees or members to commit acts of kindness throughout the season’s 92 days;
  • set an organisational goal for the number of acts of kindness you want to inspire;
  • activate your members, partners or broader ecosystem;
  • participate in global moments and broadcasts;
  • create a larger initiative of your own within the global campaign.

As part of the Learning Planet Festival 2027, we will mark this movement with a dedicated session on 27 January 2027, during the Festival’s online programme. More details will be shared soon.
