DHIS2 Asia-Pacific Conference 2026

The KIX EMAP Hub is partnering with the DHIS2 Asia-Pacific Conference 2026, organised by HISP Asia with the HISP Centre at the University of Oslo (a KIX research grantee), on 5-7 October 2026.
The DHIS2 Asia-Pacific Conference is a place for the DHIS2 community to meet and share experiences, learn about the latest developments and innovations, and make connections that can lead to new partnerships and collaborations. The conference will bring together government representatives, technical experts, development partners, and researchers from across the Asia-Pacific region to discuss innovations in digital information systems, data use, and evidence-informed decision-making across education, health, nutrition, and related sectors. It is the regional counterpart to the DHIS2 Annual Conference hosted each year in Oslo.
The programme balances discussion and information sharing with hands-on technical learning through parallel sessions. Country teams present national implementation journeys, the DHIS2 core and regional teams demonstrate new platform capabilities, and workshops build practical skills that participants take home to their own systems.
KIX EMAP Hub Sessions

As part of the collaboration, the KIX EMAP Hub will host two KIX sessions on 6 October, providing a platform for the Sri Lanka Ministry of Education and education stakeholders to exchange knowledge and experiences on education policy, data use, and evidence-informed decision-making. Discussions will focus on translating research and data into practical policy actions, supporting countries in strengthening education systems and improving learning outcomes. These KIX sessions are expected to bring together Ministry of Education officials, GPE partners and education stakeholders at the national and provincial level.
