Call for Abstracts - Learning Innovations and Emerging Technologies Conference 2026: PD4AI | AI4PD
The Learning Innovations and Emerging Technologies Conference 2026 (LIET2026): PD4AI | AI4PD is now accepting abstracts. The conference, to be held on 27–29 November 2026 at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), is co-organised by EdUHK, the KIX EMAP Hub, SEAMEO Secretariat, UNESCO Headquarters, UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (UNESCO IITE), and the UNESCO Chairs Programme.
As Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to reshape education and the work of the education workforce, LIET2026 will explore two interconnected questions:
- PD4AI – Professional Development for AI: How can professional development build the capacity of the education workforce to use AI to enhance education equity, quality and efficiency?
- AI4PD – AI for Professional Development: How can the education workforce use AI to personalise their own professional learning or that of their colleagues?
The conference will bring together researchers, policymakers, school leaders, teachers, teacher educators, practitioners, and innovators to share research, innovative practices, and policy insights across K–12 education, higher education, and teacher education.
