GPE KIX Research - Informing Bhutan’s EMIS Revamp: The MIEMIS Project’s Contributions

The MIEMIS Project has made strong progress in strengthening Bhutan’s Education Management Information System (EMIS) and Motherboard. Four situational study reports provided critical findings that guided scaling activities and deepened collaboration with stakeholders.

Thanks to scaling support from ROSIE, the project has identified champions and gained strong momentum for an EMIS revamp. In partnership with the Ministry of Education and Skills Development and ROMTech, the MIEMIS team will host Training of Trainers programs in November and December 2025. School-level EMIS managers will take part, building the skills they need to confidently use the new system.
