KIX EMAP at CIES 2026

The KIX EMAP Hub will be presenting at the upcoming Comparative and International Education Society (CIES) Conference “Re-examining Education and Peace in a Divided World” in San Francisco, United States, from 28 March – 1 April 2026. Representatives from the Hub will present and debate the Hub’s efforts to support knowledge exchange and systemic transformation to strengthen and improve education policies in the EMAP region.

These conference sessions will feature the KIX EMAP Hub’s work:

• Panel discussion: Uptake of local policy expertise: Factors that improve the utility of policy research
• Workshop session: Improving partnerships between governments and researchers. What can be learnt from defining priorities together?
