GPE KIX Annual Report 2026: Strengthening Country Leadership for Education Reform
The GPE KIX Annual Report 2026 is out now! The report highlights how the Global Partnership for Education’s Knowledge and Innovation Exchange (GPE KIX) is supporting partner countries to use research and evidence to inform education reforms and strengthen education systems.
During the 2025-2026 reporting period, GPE KIX continued to advance towards its overall goal of enabling partner countries to use the knowledge and capacity needed to scale inclusive innovations for better learning outcomes. Engagement continued with the participation of stakeholders from 90 partner countries in learning, research and knowledge exchange activities. More than 28,000 policymakers, researchers and practitioners contributed to or benefited from these efforts. A key area of progress was the use of GPE KIX evidence by partner countries to inform policy and practice, including the development of national strategies and the scaling of education innovations.
The KIX EMAP Hub contributed to these efforts through activities that strengthened data use, supported gender equity and encouraged regional knowledge exchange. The GPE KIX Annual Report 2026 highlights some key examples. In Indonesia, the Hub’s customised country support activity that supported 40 national experts to analyse education data and translate it into actionable policy recommendations. On gender equity, a learning cycle involving representatives from 16 GPE partner countries supported work on women’s leadership in education. The Hub also co-organised the 2025 Vaka Pasifiki Education Conference, bringing education stakeholders together to share knowledge and discuss how evidence can inform decision-making.
