GPE KIX Research - "Enhancing Data Utilization and Decision-Making in Bhutan’s Education System: The Motherboard Integrated Education Management Information System (MIEMIS)" has published research results
The GPE KIX Research Project “Enhancing Data Utilization and Decision-Making in Bhutan’s Education System: The Motherboard Integrated Education Management Information System (MIEMIS)” has recently published its research findings. The project aims to strengthen education in Bhutan by promoting data-driven decision-making. It seeks to integrate two separate systems – the centrally administered Education Management Information System (EMIS) and the Motherboard, used by many schools in Bhutan to track student performance – in order to improve data processes. The project also aims to enhance educational outcomes, promote gender equality, equity, and inclusion, and inform policymakers and practitioners through mixed-methods research.
Four reports have now been published in the GPE KIX Library as part of the project’s latest research outputs:
- Enabling Environment for EMIS in Bhutan, Situational Analysis Study Report
- System Soundness of EMIS in Bhutan, Situational Analysis Report
- Quality Data of EMIS in Bhutan, Situational Analysis Study Report
- Utilization of EMIS in Decision Making in Bhutan, Situational Analysis Study Report
