KIX EMAP Southeast Asia Knowledge Cafe: Session 1

Date: Thursday, 26 March 2026

Time: 09:00-10:30 AM (CET/Geneva)
03:00 AM-04:30 PM (Phnom Penh/Jakarta)

Location: Online

The session will be conducted in English.

This Knowledge Cafe will provide an opportunity to discuss findings from two GPE Knowledge and Innovation supported projects: (1) Lifting barriers: educating boys for gender equality (UNESCO, Equimundo, University of East Anglia) implemented in Cambodia, Lesotho and Malawi, and (2) Accountability for Gender Equality in Education (AGEE): Bridging the local, national and global (University College London, UNESCO, University of Malawi), implemented in Indonesia, Kenya and Malawi.

While both projects are being implemented across multiple countries, this Knowledge Cafe will focus on the findings from the Southeast Asia sub-region. We will be joined by presenters from global and national implementing partners from both research projects, and the event will be facilitated by Aditi Desai, the KIX EMAP Knowledge Lead for Southeast Asia.

Agenda and relevant resources to be published soon.

We look forward to your participation.
